Worldview

Worldview by Suzanne Coley
My limited edition relief print, Worldview, was selected by Juror J.W. Mahoney for Target Gallery's 25th anniversary show last September.

This is an excerpt of Mr. Mahoney's statement about selecting the artwork for the show:
"What we see is a naturally new art, emerging beyond our last century, with questions, curiosities, and discoveries that are open both to nature and politics, to the strange and engaging significance of both the "real" world and that in our living imaginations. This isn't an art based on fashion or irony, nor either simple cynicism or mindless contemporaneity."

Thank you Target Gallery and Mr. Mahoney for your tremendous support to artists!

Walking through Clouds

I have been taking morning walks in tranquil Maryland meadows.
There is nothing more grounding than walking through clouds.
