Ex-library Books

Making tactile & textured books

Back in June I wrote a post about using the covers of ex-library books to create new stories. Today I would like to share one of the completed books with you.
The outside: silver and textured
The inside: organic mixed media collage with gold metal leaf
Inside cover detail
Linocuts, acrylic paint, antique postage stamps purchased from the Smithsonian National Postal Museum, and cheese cloth.

Walking through Clouds

I have been taking morning walks in tranquil Maryland meadows.
