Leviathan Movie

Today I took a break and went to the movies.  I saw Leviathan, directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev, co-written by Zvyagintsev and Oleg Negin.  It was complex, thought-provoking, and deeply moving.

Leviathan won Best Foreign Language Film at this year's Golden Globe Awards.

The cinematography by Mikhail Krichman was superb.  He brilliantly captured those fragile, and often silent, moments of human vulnerability.

Processing the film compelled me to create this image when I arrived home.  Leviathan is a must-see!
