National Postal Museum's

Annual Holiday Card Workshop was today and it was as fun and inspiring as their amazing collection of domestic and international stamps!
National Postal Museum's Holiday Card Workshop, 2014
Illuminated envelopes were hanging on the National Postal Museum's christmas tree.
I arrived early so I could check out the beautiful hand crafted envelopes by various artists.
Each design was inspired by a postage stamp.
It was a joy watching the enthusiastic and kind workers set up.
Their T-shirts said it all!
Workers carefully organized each table.
Christmas cheer and Holiday joy was spread everywhere.
 When the tables were ready.
And the vintage postage stamps were organized by color,
The box of red stamps.
The box of holiday stamps from all over the world.
You could mail your one-of-a-kind creations right at the postal museum.  They put special hand cancellation stamps on each card.
This was one of three postcards I created today at the workshop.
