By February, I realized I needed to plan the books in a more efficient way if I was going to make 365.

For the month of January, I created more than 550 images (illustrations, linocuts, collages, handmade papers, and paintings). In February I experimented with painting the covers one color, red.

This worked out really well because I was free to concentrate on various textures, and push them to their limits.
