From Siberia with Love

Some views of the Rechnoy Vokzal subway station in Novorsibirsk, Russia. This station has beautiful stained glass panels with the names of Siberian cities engraved at the top. This one is dedicated to Novorsibirsk, the largest city East of the Ural mountains Subway platform at Novosibirsk Metro, Russia.  The subway stations are so clean they remind me of the ones in Washington DC.  (No one was eating or drinking.) This panel is dedicated to Mangazeya, Novokuznetsk. The sunlight at the top of this image is a glimpse of the metro line that goes over the Ob river. This stained glass window is dedicated to Tobol'sk. Surgut - It was explained to me that the name Surgut is Khanty

50 lbs of Music

This is a peek at a very special project I've been working on for the past six months.  I inherited over 50 lbs of vintage music sheets.  The paper is great for marbling and printmaking. I should be finished with the project in 2016 and look forward to showing you more.

A Sincere Thank You!

Two and a half years ago I began blogging, and I am thankful to everyone who has been following me. To show my appreciation, I created a linocut print just for YOU!   That's right, everyone who has been officially following me is going to get one hand printed work of art. I have a few of your addresses.  If I don't have your address, please email before June 30th if you would like to receive your special gift. I will mail the prints to everyone the first week of July.
