The Poetics of Fabric

Wedding Gowns and Books

In March, the rack was packed with used wedding gowns.  In May, these two were left.  Today I took them home before they were sent to the landfill.  They will be transformed into textile books. 

Explorations with Letterpress

I am so excited to be back in the letterpress studio!   I am doing the prep work for one of the most ambitious projects I've done in a long time.  Stay tuned for more posts about this project and my residency in October at the Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies.  

Embroidered Newspaper
