Fear

12 weeks ago our journey began

each with a fear heavier than we could carry

exhaling memories no one could see

blue phobias no one could touch

drowning slowly, searching for light

dark seas with dragon silhouettes

fire blazes, scorching our skin 

with each thought

12 weeks ago I dropped everything I was doing to learn how to swim.  My instructor is phenomenal!  I documented every aspect of the process and will post the poems and images on Mondays.
