100 Days of COVID-19, Day 32

My Art in the Time of a Pandemic

EMBARK: Travel the World with Stamps
I am swell.  Wish you were here.  Postcard series by Suzanne Coley, 5/1/2020
Today's stamps really took me on a journey.  Over the years, I visited three of the countries: Russia, Spain, and Mexico.  Looking at the stamps brought back wonderful memories of my trips.

I was surprised to see Flemish paintings on two stamps issued by different countries on different continents: Mahra State's 1960s stamp of Husband and Wife by Anthony Van Dyck.  Paraguay's 1987 Christmas stamp by Peter Paul Ruebens.
