My Art in the Time of a Pandemic
I 💛 Decorative Arts15 cent vintage American stamps featuring a Pennsylvania Toleware coffee pot and sugar bowl. Issued on April 19, 1979, these designs were created by Bradbury Thompson. He based the designs on watercolor renderings in the Index of American Design in the National Gallery of Art. The Index is a collection of more than 18,000 renderings of American folk and decorative arts objects from 1700 to 1900.
I love creating postcards with these stamps, therefore you may see them a few more times in my series: I am swell. Wish you were here.
