What is now proved was once only imagined.
~William Blake
Once bound, the back side of the pages become invisible. The back side reads so differently from the front. I like looking at it, if only for a short time in my studio. One can see how the fabrics were dyed, hand painted, mended, cut, sewn, and transformed to form seamless narratives on the front.

It is interesting to see how fabrics worn 100 years ago fused with fabrics worn 10 years ago can create a simple verse, haiku or ballad.
One verse at a time, new poems are created by editing the old.
